Every year, on the first Saturday in May, thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and a celebration of the labyrinth experience.

People around the world will “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next. World Labyrinth Day is an annual event sponsored by The Labyrinth Society (TLS).

Friends of Duboce Park hosted a walk at 1 p.m. following a short presentation by board member Janet Scheuer on the history of labyrinths. 16 neighbors participated at the Scott Street Labyrinth to join the moving meditation for world peace and a celebration of the labyrinth experience. World Labyrinth Day is sponsored by The Labyrinth Society (TLS).
